Quick Quotes May Club Q

Hi everyone! Wendy here and today I've created a Birthday Banner using the new Quick Quotes May Club Q kit. I absolutely love the mix of papers and embellishments in this month's kit.

This month's kit comes with an adorable lemon mini album. Instead of creating an album, I decided to use the chipboard pieces to create a banner for a summer Birthday celebration.

I painted the chipboard pieces with white paint and them embossed them with yellow embossing powder. I glued vellum lemon centers and added a ribbon.

One of the chipboard album covers was also painted and covered with yellow embossing powder. The diecut sentiment and tag all can be found in the kit.

I tied twine around the red plastic slide holders that come in the kit and placed them in between the lemons. For a bit of decoration, I decorated them with some handmade flowers made from the die cuts and pearls in the kit.

Just a reminder, this month's challenge is Beautiful Birthdays! We can't wait to see what you create!

Stampbook Saturday Background Stamping

Just sharing a layout I created for There She Goes Stampbook Saturday using Dream in Color and Journal Lines.

Supplies Used: There She Goes (Dream in Color, Journal Lines), Memento Ink, Copics, Cardstock

I stamped the flower image, masked them off and stamped over the entire layout with the Journal Lines to create the look of doodled notebook paper. I kept the coloring simple with just a few grey copics and B00. I added a bit of journaling and "dreams" to the design.

The title was created by cutting white cardstock 3 times on the Silhouette and coloring one of the diecuts with a rainbow of copics. I layered that offset on the remaining diecuts to create a shadowed chipboard effect.

TSG- April Showers, May Flowers

Hi everyone! Welcome back for another There She Goes Challenge...April Showers, May Flowers. I worked with the new release Dream In Color

I created a clear acrylic card base from a Clear Scraps 12 x 12 Acrylic Sheet cut down to 4 x 12 inches. I love working with clear card bases. An easy way to hide the adhesive, is to adhere the mat behind the panel with the acrylic sandwiched in between.

I colored the flower in grey copics so it pops on the bright green cardstock. To create the sentiment, I bumped coordinating stickers to the light blue mat. I could have created a cut on the Silhouette, but I was feeling too lazy to figure it out, LOL!  I'm still learning the basics of the Silhouette.

To be eligible for the giveaway, create a NEW card or project using the theme for this week’s challenge, and then head back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Monday May 6th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
